Not neccessarily, it always amazes me how many secondhand ski's are offered for sale with really low hours, hardly run in. Some people are more keen than others on using their craft - or it could be that they just cannot afford to use them as much as they would like, we have always used our ski's to the max, our last two Sea Doo's doing over 200 hours, our current RXT has done 220 hours and would have done more if we hadn't bought a boat 4 years ago which we use a lot as well.
In a few cases older ski's might show low hours, but have had the clock reset.

If you put some thought process to this ............. a lot of people don't get there ski, out till April/May ..... then use it every other Sunday ...... putting 3-4 hours on the running clock (thats a good day out)...... and then wrap it up, come September .......... so 10-12 outings ...... 25-50 hours in a average for a lot of fair weather users.
Theres a good caes to say, a used 4 stroke will be in better nick, if used more regulaly, especially in the winter ................ dont be afraid of hours on a 4 stroke.......... they are good for thousands !!
