I have just read the write up & there appears to be a "key" point missing
When doing a nose stab/ invert you must to throw your body to the right as you take off ( its as important as turning the bars) if you dont - you stand a very good chance of landing on your side.
This is clearly visable in ice's pictures but its not mentioned in the write up

I agree rick. after trying to nail nose stab for 6 months it was leaning out to the right that finally allowed me to nail it

managed to get this on a stock ski with just the nozzle mod ! got footholds now they make it much easier . just fitted a quick steer plate, looking to try it out tomorrow . dug me motocross helmet out so i will be trying to do inverted one tomorrow . should be fun ...for anyone watching
if your going to try a nose stab i would really advise the nozzle mod easy and free makes alot of difference !

its just moving the ball joint bit that attaches to the steering cable down closer to the nozzle gives more throw . make sure the back of the nozzle is not hitting the pump on full lock, you will need to grind a bit out the back of the nozzle each side or you will bend your steering cable

Hi That was very useful thanks, Starting to get it now!

Next backflip!
Any useful tips for flat water backflip? I have pretty much got the wake setup down I think. I have about 100 hp ( ADA head 195 psi, B mod pipe, light flywheel, Ported cylinder), 13/17 solas 87mm nozzle ,Short cone, Tilt steering nozzle. Stock hull with footholds,lightweight hood, Tank etc. Ski has very good bottom end punch.
Do I need to finish the light weight hull I am building or buy a Dasa engine to stand a chance??
