JSRA Winter Series RD1 21st 22nd November

The JSRA 2010 Winter Series is about to kick off in two weeks time at Tattershall Lakes in Lincolnshire. The Event Itinerary and Entry forms are available for download on the entries page of the JSRA website www.jsra.co.uk and also from the Winter Series Round 1 info on the right-hand menu. Information pertaining to the venue may also be found here.

Please note: Complete beginners must attend the Saturday Training Course, if you have raced within the last two years, at either British Championship, Winter Series or Club level then you may enter on Sunday morning. Not applicable to Freestylers - All Freestylers must be on site for 11am Sunday.

Beginners - To help with Saturday's training please read the JSRA induction booklet. This will give you a head start and make the day more enjoyable. Note: an electronic version is available on the website.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

2010 RYA Licence Fees Explained

From November 2009 all Beginners applying for a licence in will now be charged £60 for an annual race licence - valid through Dec 2010. This licence is only available to 1st year licence holders & can be used in both the Winter and Summer Series Beginner Classes.

New for 2010 - The JSRA will be dropping the Club racing program and introducing a beginner series with the summer championships- riders wishing to compete in the summer championships must compete in at least one winter round, or attend a training day to show proficency.

All the above licences require a medical examination. JSRA provides medicals at some rounds please contact office for dates. See licence application for details of medical examination.

All the above require a JSRA full membership £90, discounts for families.

We have a long history of racing at Tattershall Lakes which goes back as far as 1993 when 550's were still king! Since then we've enjoyed many exciting years competing at both Winter and British Championship level.

For the 2010 winter series we'll be back and racing on the waterski lake for the first round of the 2010 Winter Championships.

Facilities:
Tattershall Park offers full electric hook up for campers and rents log cabins and static caravans for weekenders. You can either book directly with Tattershall or book cabins through Custard Pine Lodges - see contact details below.

Directions
Tattershall Country Park is located on the A153 Sleaford to Skegness Road. It is 3/4 of a mile before the village of Tattershall on the right hand side of the road, 200 metres West of the Castle, which overlooks the lake.
