The JSRAs Junior Ski class has produced numerous European and World Champions in this class. But unfortunately with the majority of the Junior racers now upgrading to the adult classes and no new riders coming through, the JSRA have found themselves in the very sad situation of having no Junior racing programme for 2010.
Therefore the JSRA have made the decision to invest in a Junior-specific race programme for 2010/2011 and offer Free Racing to all new Junior skiers. The race programme will take place on Saturdays, running alongside the British Championships dates.
So if you, or someone you know has a child (aged between 9 and 14 years) interested in racing, please forward your interest on to the JSRA as soon as possible. Once they have enough support they will then announce all the details.
Class rules
All craft must be two-stroke stand-up type craft and remain stock, except for handling mods. Legal skis include: Yamaha SuperJet, FX1, Kawasaki SXR, SX, SXi, SXi Pro, 550, and 440. Not legal: Polaris Octane, Hydrospace, and Yamaha Rius SuperJet.
